Hi there! I am Dain Suh, a New York-based art director, illustrator, and digital content creator.
Inspired by fine art and fashion, my design approach is to use bright colors and and play with different types of typography that are visually engaging and easy to digest. I am most passionate about creating impactful storytelling for brands and defining visual identities through lifestyle photography and developing customer-centric design strategies to produce the best-in-class content experiences across digital channels
With 10+ years of e-commerce and social media experience in beauty industry, I am currently working as a digital eCommerce art director at L'Oréal LUXE division supporting overall LUXE portfolio globally and locally following the motto “committed to create the best of conscious luxury”.
In addition to design, my illustration works have appeared in Fort Worth Business Press, NPR, KCCNY (Korean Cultural Center New York), 매일경제신문, 국민일보, Design Books and Magazines including: Kawaii Design+, Take My Time: Creative Calendar Design, The Little Book of Kawaii, Playing with Sketches, and many more.
When I am not working, I spend most of my free time traveling, exploring hidden gems in New York City, and trying new stuff. (Recently tried the graffiti workshop in Brooklyn and it was super fun!)
